I'm a Somatic Practitioner and trauma-trained coach. I work with people in midlife who feel stuck and broken - who've tried talk therapy, books, and sheer willpower, and still can't shift the patterns running their life. My approach, The Inner Safety System, works where those patterns actually live - not in your thinking mind, but in your body and your nervous system.

PRIVATE COACHING
For most of my clients, this is where the work begins. We start by noticing what's going on in your body - something most of us have never learned to do. From there, we work with what's actually been keeping you stuck. We go slowly. I never push you somewhere your body isn't ready to go.
What You’ll Experience:
A pause between feeling something and reacting to it.
That moment where you actually get to choose what to do - instead of being run by the same automatic response.
Old patterns starting to loosen.
Even ones you've been trying to change for years through talk therapy, books, and willpower.
Your feelings, thoughts, and reactions starting to make sense.
Not as proof that something's wrong with you, but as your body trying to take care of you.


workshop
A 3-hour live online workshop where you learn why your body reacts the way it does - and what to do about it. You'll leave with a map of your own nervous system: what sends you into shutdown, reactivity, or overdrive, and what helps you come back. Great for individuals, groups, and couples.
What You’ll Experience:
You understand why you get hijacked.
The anxiety, the anger, the shutting down, the people-pleasing - you'll learn what's actually happening in your body when these kick in, and why willpower hasn't been able to stop them.
You learn to read your own signals.
You'll start recognizing what state your nervous system is in - in real time - and discover what helps you settle, what helps you feel safe, and what keeps pulling you out.
You learn the difference between real threat and old patterns.
Not everything your body reacts to is actually dangerous. You'll practise telling the difference - so you can start choosing your response instead of being run by it.

For people who are done understanding their patterns - and ready to actually shift them.
You can probably explain exactly why you do what you do. You've read the books. You've done the talk therapy. You understand your childhood, your triggers, your patterns.
And your body still does the same thing it's always done - the anxiety, the shutting down, the people-pleasing, the anger, the checking out. That's because those patterns don't live in your thinking mind. They live in your nervous system - in the way you learned to protect yourself before you had any say in the matter.
This 12-week program works there. Through online content, guided practices, downloadable resources, weekly live calls, and a community of people walking the same path, you work at the level where the patterns actually live - and you shift them.

You understand why your body does what it does.
The anxiety, the people-pleasing, the anger, the shutting down - none of it is a character flaw. It's a survival response. Shame loosens. Everything that follows becomes possible because of this shift.

I had been asking myself, "Why do I react this way?" when someone cuts me off in my car, or "Why am I so revved up?" when a particular coworker speaks to me. I was looking for genuine support and an explanation instead of always thinking I am a jerk and I am broken. Now I understand what my nervous system does to make me feel safe and to survive. I speak to myself in a kinder manner, and I also have more compassion for myself and others now. Truly, a revelation.

Talk therapy helps you understand your patterns - why you do what you do, where it comes from. That understanding is valuable, but for a lot of people it doesn't change how they actually feel in their body or how they react when it matters most. This work goes to where the patterns actually live - your nervous system, your body - and helps them shift there. Some of my clients have done talk therapy before, some haven't - either way, this work meets you where you are. It works at the level that talking alone doesn't reach.
If you recognize yourself in anything on this page - the anxiety, the reactions you can't control, the feeling of being stuck - that's enough. You don't need a diagnosis or a dramatic story. Most of my clients don't have one. They just know something is off and nothing they've tried has fully shifted it. That's exactly who this work is for.
We meet on Zoom. Sessions are a combination of conversation, education about what's happening in your nervous system, and guided moments where we slow down and notice what's going on in your body - where there's activation, what shifts when we talk about something hard, what your nervous system is doing in real time. It's slower and more present than most people expect. Most clients say it's unlike anything they've done before.
